I needed to feel fabric in my hands, I desired that spark of creativity. Hearing the soft "swoosh" of the needle and thread was music to my soul. I had no purpose other than creative expression at that moment.
Before I knew it, the clock hands showed that it was past midnight. I looked at my little pile of ribbon flowers and was satisfied that my creative needs had been met for the night. I went to sleep with a smile on my face in joyous rapture and thankfulness for the gift of simple creativity. God bless the wonderful person who invented the needle and thread.
